Audra McDonald joins Harvey Fierstein, Malcolm Gets, Anthony Rapp, Krysta Rodriguez, Mary Louise Wilson, Tony Vincent, and more in honoring Golden Globe nominee and Emmy Award winner Neil Patrick Harris at this year’s Drama League Gala. Audra last shared the stage with Harris when they performed a wrap-up rap based on Jay-Z and Alicia Key’s song “Empire State of Mind” at last year’s Tonys. Hosted by Academy, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winner Whoopi Goldberg, the Drama League Gala will be held at the Pierre Hotel on February 3. The evening will feature performances of musical selections drawn from Harris’s career in theater, film, and television. Last year, Audra was the honoree at The Drama League’s 29th Musical Celebration of Broadway.
