Tune in to CBS this Sunday at 8 PM (EDT)/5 PM (PDT) for the 66th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featuring the cast of The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. This year Audra is nominated for a Tony in the category of “Best Leading Actress in a Musical” for her role as Bess in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. Audra, who has previously won four Tony awards, is nominated alongside Jan Maxwell (Follies), Cristin Milioti (Once), Kelli O’Hara (Nice Work If You Can Get It), and Laura Osnes (Bonnie & Clyde).

Sunday evening will also feature performances by 2012 Tony-nominated musicals and their casts, including Ricky Martin andElena Roger of Evita, Danny Burstein of Follies, Jeremy Jordan of Newsies, and Kelli O’Hara and Matthew Broderick of Nice Work if You Can Get It.

Currently running at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, directed by Diane Paulus, has also been nominated for “Best Revival of a Musical,” “Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical” (Norm Lewis), “Best Direction of a Musical” (Diane Paulus), “Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical” (Phillip Boykin and David Alan Grier), “Best Costume Design of a Musical” (ESosa), “Best Lighting Design of a Musical” (Christopher Akerlind), “Best Sound Design of a Musical” (Acme Sound Partners), and “Best Orchestrations” (William David Brohn and Christopher Janke).
