Audra McDonald attended the 2019 Tony Awards hosted by James Corden at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Wearing a gown by Halston and shoes by Tamara Mellon, Audra was featured in the red carpet highlights by Vogue, People Magazine, Town & Country, among others. During the show, Audra and longtime friend and colleague Laura Linney engaged in a mock standoff (video below!). Audra also presented the Tony for Best Lead Actress in a Musical which was awarded to Stephanie J. Block for her portrayal of “Star,” one-third of the title character in the new bio-musical The Cher Show.
