Audra McDonald on The Late, Late Show with James Corden

Audra McDonald joined host James Corden and Beauty and the Beast co-star Dan Stevens in “Inappropriate Musicals” on The Late, Late Show. Traversing Taxi Driver, The Shape of Water, and A Quiet Place, the performances showcased films that should never be made into musicals.

Later in the show, Audra sat down to talk about her role on The Good Fight and North American tour of her latest album, Sing Happy. They were joined in conversation by Billy Eichner who was promoting his initiative, Glam Up The Midterms, to encourage Millenials to vote this November. Catch the full episode here.

The show came on the heels of her appearance on The Talk and performance at LA Opera. Charles McNulty of the LA Times raved, “Perfection is not attainable in this earthly realm, but Audra McDonald came as close as humanly possible in her Los Angeles Opera concert Sunday at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.” Click here to read the full article.
