Earlier this year, Audra McDonald joined fellow Broadway performers to raise money for the Covenant House Sleep Out campaign and raised over $26,000 to support the organization’s work with homeless youth across the country. The funds will allow Covenant House to rescue and provide meals and shelter to homeless young people around the country.

The six-time Tony winner was welcomed to the Covenant House board in 2014 and this will be here second year participating in the annual Sleep Out. Audra will sleep outside with members of the Sleep Out: Executive Edition on November 19 in solidarity with homeless youth across the United States.
